Having used many vintage U87s, I found myself losing interest, but the new version has rejuvenated my appreciation for this microphone.
The only downside is that it does not come with a mount, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, the Neumann U87 AI MT is an outstanding choice for any serious audio engineer.
