Customer Review Summary

I recently used the Rode TF-5 microphones for stereo room miking of a harp and flute in a church setting, and I was thoroughly impressed by the spatial depth and dynamic range they offered. The sound reproduction is incredibly detailed, making them unbeatable for recording acoustic (classical) music in this price range.

The microphones deliver a beautiful sound on various acoustic instruments, including piano and percussion, providing plenty of “air” around the notes. Additionally, I have used them for field recording and documentary work, and they consistently produce a brilliant sound. There’s really nothing more to say—these microphones are simply outstanding.
