The IK Multimedia iLoud Precision 6 MKII has truly impressed me with its immersive and uncompromising sound quality. After receiving it, I calibrated the speakers using the new ARC X calibration software, which significantly enhanced the listening experience.
Having previously owned a pair of MTM MK II’s, I found the transition to the Precision 6 MK II seamless, especially after calibrating them with ARC X as well. The sound produced is nothing short of excellent, offering clarity and depth that greatly benefits mixing and monitoring.
However, I did encounter a minor issue with ARC X. The software currently allows for only one pair of calibrated monitors to be selected at a time, which means that if you want to monitor with another pair, it resets the calibration for the first. I believe this is a limitation that IK Multimedia will address in future updates, as the software is still relatively new.
Overall, the sound quality of the Precision 6 MK II is outstanding, making it a worthwhile addition to any audio setup.
