Customer Review Summary
I have tested many microphones over the years, and the shortcomings often highlighted in reviews tend to be more pronounced than suggested. However, the AEA R88A is a different story. It truly excels and surprises, even in applications where one might not expect it to shine, such as recording acoustic guitar and vocals at close range.
The sound it produces is incredibly natural, rich, detailed, and aesthetically pleasing. It’s simply remarkable!
