Customer Review Summary
The Rumberger TA3000 X-L Descant is an exceptional microphone system that has completely transformed the way my accordion sounds in a band setting. Previously, I struggled with a MIDI Master MP1 T microphone, which often made the sound piercing and harsh. However, after switching to the Rumberger, the audio quality is nothing short of remarkable, resembling the clarity of a large studio condenser microphone.
This microphone blends seamlessly within the band, providing a natural sound without being overpowering, and there’s no need for EQ adjustments on the PA system. It’s a truly outstanding piece of equipment, and I wholeheartedly believe it’s worth every penny.
Having experimented with various accordion microphones in the past, I can confidently say that none have matched the fidelity of the TA3000 X-L Descant. It delivers an authentic accordion sound through the mixer—balanced, neither too bright nor overly bass-heavy.
I chose the TA3000 X-L model with the intention of potentially adding a bass or vocal microphone later on, opting out of the cheaper TA3000eco L. Additionally, I purchased the Rumberger magnetic holder for versatility across different accordions, although I found it somewhat lacking due to a design issue.
In summary, I highly recommend the Rumberger TA3000 X-L Descant for anyone serious about achieving a high-quality accordion sound.
