Seth Godin - The Practice

An animated journey for a book trailer

We were approached by the awesome Seth Godin who offered us to work together on a trailer for the launch of his incredible new book The Practice. We developed an audiovisual piece that merges concepts such as growth, intent, transformation, becoming, uncertainty, building and magic, in a poetic and abstract way. The ethereal music is by American composer Erik Schilke.

The concept of transformation was at the heart of this project, so we kept developing ways to transform elements into other elements or constantly change shapes.

Another key idea we worked around was the concept of multiple forces or ideas coming together as a whole and becoming a unified entity.

To keep delivering the idea of transformation, we created a Rubik Cube-like structure that keeps evolving in space combining multiple shapes and colours.
