Customer Review Summary

HEDD Type 20 MK2 left is a 3-way monitoring speaker made in Berlin that offers good sound quality and solid build. However, my experience has been marred by significant issues.

Initially, the speaker produced excellent audio, but I was disappointed when it abruptly stopped functioning altogether, leaving me without sound for no apparent reason. After sending it back for repair under warranty, I received it a month later only to face the same issue with the right speaker a year later, which was now out of warranty. This meant I had to cover the shipping and repair costs myself, which was frustrating given the high price tag.

Additionally, while the sound quality is commendable, I found the background noise to be excessively loud, which is quite disappointing for a monitor in this price range. Despite trying various settings, including the lineariser, there was no improvement in the noise level. Ultimately, I regretted my decision to purchase these monitors.
