Customer Review Summary

EVE Audio TS112 is an impressive subwoofer that delivers a remarkable audio experience, particularly when paired with active monitors like the Adam A7X. After a couple of weeks of use, I’ve found its performance to be satisfying, especially with a powerful bass response extending down to 24Hz, and even audible at 22Hz. However, to achieve the best results, some adjustments are necessary, such as sealing the reflex ports and setting the crossover frequency to the lowest position at 60Hz.

The construction quality is decent, although the sides are made of relatively thin 20mm MDF, which compromises sound quality slightly. A reinforcing beam from wall to wall can significantly enhance the acoustic performance. The front and bottom panels, where the drivers are mounted, are considerably thicker and sturdier, leading to a more robust sound.

The bass driver, featuring a large magnet and measuring 156mm, seems to be a custom product from Tang Band. While there is no built-in magnetic shielding, it can be added manually if needed. One of the standout features of this subwoofer is its remote control, allowing for convenient adjustments to system volume, sub level, and phase.

In terms of value for money, the TS112 is an excellent choice at its price point, particularly because few subwoofers in this range come with remote functionality and can reproduce frequencies down to 20Hz at around 104dB. For those with larger rooms over 20 square metres seeking intense bass, however, I would suggest considering 15-inch subwoofers housed in enclosures over 100 litres for even deeper rumbling and thumping.

Overall, the EVE Audio TS112 is a solid investment for those looking for precise and deep bass, making it a worthy addition to any audio setup.
