Customer Review Summary

The AKG C314 Stereo

Once operational, these microphones truly shine. The sound quality is exceptional, with non-aggressive high frequencies that can often be a downside of condenser microphones. The different polar patterns provide versatile stereo recording options, making these mics a perfect compromise for my needs.

Having compared them to my previous pair of small-diaphragm statics, the Shure KSM137, I can confidently say that the AKG C314s have elevated my recordings. Overall, I am now very satisfied with their performance, even if my initial experience was somewhat rocky.
