Discovery "Night of Investigation"

TV Ident for Discovery Channel inspired by espionage, conspiration and secret documents

We were approached by the team at Discovery Channel Latam to develop a look and package for their Night of Investigation programming block. The brief made references to CIA, KGB and JFK files, espionage, conspiration and secret documents. Inspiration was taken from a variety of films, old and recent, until we came up with a mood edit and some styleframes. The final animated package included promos, IDs, open, close, bumpers and promo toolkit.

We built and animated a number of expionage-inspired elements and gadgets to depict a surveillance type of visual universe

Several graphic cards were created to simulate a GUI where spies are tracked and vehicles are followed across a city

A number of shots were directly inspired by classic espionage movies and rebuilt using our own graphi language
