Customer Review Summary

I was in search of an affordable active monitor, ideally coaxial, and after testing various nearfield monitors, I chose the Presonus Eris Pro 6. My application involves a sound art installation, where the monitor is positioned quite close (around 30cm away), yet it also needs to be pleasant for others in the room to hear.

The insect sounds are reproduced with remarkable clarity and crispness, while the low-end is well-defined. The bass resonates beautifully, and the delicate crackles of the wings are finely resolved, resulting in a balanced sound across the frequency spectrum. For the price, it has exceeded my expectations, although naturally, it doesn’t quite match my significantly more expensive studio monitors.
