Compared to my previous monitors, the KH 150s have a more balanced sound profile, where the often-criticised “midrange emphasis” of Neumann products is notably absent. Instead, they offer a consistent tonal balance that makes mixing and listening a joy. Even at lower volumes, the clarity remains intact, which is a significant advantage for long mixing sessions.
Installation and calibration were straightforward, requiring minimal technical knowledge. The correction software worked effectively, although it could be a bit slow at times. Nonetheless, the benefits in sound quality are evident, making it a worthwhile investment.
