Myers Pickups The Master Flute is an exceptional accessory that delivers outstanding sound quality. I purchased it for my grandson, who is 15 and has achieved grade 6 in flute. He uses it with a JPL EONE Compact amp, and the sound produced is superb.
This combo is a fantastic alternative to the now-discontinued SD-Systems flute microphone, which was considerably more expensive. The Master Flute offers excellent value for money.
The set includes various options for precisely positioning the microphone on the flute, which enhances its usability. While the inclusion of two additional microphones, including a headset, may seem unnecessary, it allows for creative experimentation with different setups.
Overall, the sound quality is completely satisfactory. However, I would appreciate more information about the microphone’s frequency range, as I’ve yet to receive a response from the manufacturer regarding this detail.
