Customer Review Summary

ADAM Audio T10S Review

I recently added the ADAM Audio T10S to my studio setup, and I must say, it delivers an impressive performance. The sound quality is fantastic, providing deep and balanced bass that significantly enhances the overall audio experience. It’s especially well-suited for pairing with the T-Series monitors, creating a cohesive sound that is both detailed and powerful.

Setting up the subwoofer was straightforward, and the build quality is commendable. The sleek design fits well in my studio, while the sturdy legs help minimise vibrations. The sub can reproduce frequencies as low as 28Hz, which is perfect for various music genres, from techno to film scoring. You can easily adjust the crossover settings, although I found the sensitivity of the volume and frequency controls to be a bit finicky at times.

However, one persistent issue is the automatic standby feature. While it’s designed to save power, it can be quite frustrating, especially during quieter listening sessions. The sub often turns off after a period of inactivity, requiring a louder input to wake it back up. This delay can be annoying when switching between sources, as it disrupts the flow of work. Unfortunately, there’s no option to disable this feature, which has been a significant drawback for many users.

Despite this annoyance, the T10S excels in delivering a punchy and immersive bass experience. It truly enhances the clarity of low frequencies, allowing for a more accurate mix. For those with a suitable room treatment, this subwoofer can be a game changer. Overall, if you’re looking for a high-quality subwoofer that complements the ADAM monitors, the T10S is a solid choice, provided you can manage the automatic standby function.
