Customer Review Summary

I recently had the opportunity to test the Fluid Audio FX50 V2 monitors, and I must say, they have truly impressed me. These monitors are marketed as ‘uncoloured’ nearfield monitors, and they deliver exactly that. The sound is remarkably true, flat, and uncoloured, making them an excellent choice for critical listening.

Upon first use, I was astounded by how rich and vibrant the sound was, especially considering the compact size of the cabinets. The stereo separation is exceptional, allowing me to discern intricate details in my music that I hadn’t noticed before, even with larger, more expensive speakers.

When I shared my compositions with fellow producers, they were astonished by the sound quality, often mistaking it for that of larger monitors. This speaks volumes about the performance of the FX50s, as they provide a surprisingly big sound from a small speaker.

From a build quality perspective, the monitors feel robust and well-made, and their price point is almost a steal for such effective monitors. I genuinely believe they offer one of the best values for nearfield monitors available today.

Additionally, I found that while the bass response is decent, it does taper off below 100Hz. Therefore, if you’re looking for a full-range solution, pairing them with a subwoofer could enhance your setup significantly. However, as a second pair of monitors, they excel and are highly recommended, especially when used with the Fluid Audio DS5 stands.

In conclusion, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Fluid Audio FX50 V2 monitors to anyone seeking high-quality nearfield monitors. You certainly won’t be disappointed!
