Customer Review Summary

The DiGiGrid IOX is an exceptional audio interface that stands out for its stability and outstanding audio quality. Over the years, I have transitioned from using various high-end brands to this system, and I can confidently say that it delivers a unique audio experience.

With just a simple Ethernet cable, it connects seamlessly, providing 12 ultra-linear preamplified inputs that sound fantastic. The system is versatile and incredibly easy to use, allowing for straightforward patching and routing of inputs and outputs with just a click.

The IOX offers multiple features, including 12 line or mic inputs, 6 balanced outputs, and 4 assignable headphone amps, all of which integrate smoothly into my SoundGrid network. The audio quality is impressive, and the dynamic range is a testament to its high standards, making it a significant upgrade over previous models.

However, it’s worth noting that the unit can generate noticeable fan noise, which may be distracting in quieter settings. This issue can be mitigated by placing the device in a separate machine room, but it does limit direct access to the headphone outputs.

Setting up the IOX is quick and hassle-free, and the software included for routing is intuitive and efficient. Integration with third-party interfaces is also straightforward, provided clock synchronization is maintained.

In conclusion, the DiGiGrid IOX is a highly recommendable product for both live and studio use. It combines excellent build quality, superb sound, and ease of use, making it a worthwhile investment for serious audio professionals.
